DMCA and Copyright Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

PicBGRemover respects intellectual property rights and expects users to process only images they are authorized to use.

Local processing

Images selected for background removal are processed locally in the user’s browser and are not published or stored by PicBGRemover as part of the normal tool workflow. Consequently, we usually cannot identify or remove a user-selected image from our servers because no server copy exists.

Reporting website content

If material published on the PicBGRemover website infringes your copyright, send a notice to copyright@picbgremover.com identifying the work, the exact URL, your contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy and authority statement under penalty of perjury, and your physical or electronic signature.

Response

We may remove or disable access to identified website material after reviewing a valid notice. We may send the notice to the affected party and process a valid counter-notice as permitted by applicable law.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a copyright notice may create liability. Consider obtaining legal advice before submitting a notice.
